School Years 1988/90. During these years in whom Dr. Galassi has been employed full time and paid as Research Fellow/Registrar in the Cardiovascular Research Unit of the Department of Medicine, Royal Postgraduate Medical School, Hammersmith Hospital, London, United Kingdom he was appointed a Teaching Course for the students of the University of London, Diploma of Cardiology.
School Years 1993-1994, 1994-1995, 1995-1996, 1996-1997, 1997-1998, 1998-1999, 1999-2000, 2000-2001, 2001-2002, 2002-2003. During these years Dr. Galassi has cooperated with Prof. Giuffrida, a full Professor of “Cardiovascular Clinic and Pathology” in teaching the students at the IV year of Specialization in Cardiology, Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, of the University of Catania, and in performing practical exercise in cardiology, for the students of the IV year of the Degree in Medicine, section C, of the University of Catania.
School Years 1997-1998. Coordinator and teacher of the “Specialization Course in Nuclear Cardiology” held at the University of Catania.
School Years 1999-2000. Adjunct Professor at the University of Catania, for the Course of “Nuclear Immunological Techniques” as part of the teaching of “Clinical Pathology” at the School of Specialization in Clinical Pathology.
School Years 2000-2001, 2001-2002, 2002-2003, 2003-2004, 2004-2005, 2005-2006. Adjunct Professor at the University of Catania, for the Course of “Nuclear Cardiology” (D.M. 21.05.98, n 242) as part of the teaching of “Non invasive diagnostic examination III” at the School of Specialization in Cardiology.
School Years 2003-2004, 2004-2005 and 2005-2006. During these years Dr. Galassi has cooperated with Prof. C. Tamburino, in teaching the subject “Cardiovascular Clinic and Pathology” to the students at the IV year of Specialization in Cardiology, Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, University of Catania, and in performing practical exercise in cardiology, for the students of the IV year of the Degree in Medicine, of the University of Catania.
From the 1st December 2006. Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, University of Catania, from the 1st December 2006 and Director of Diagnostic and Cardiovascular Interventional Laboratory, Clinical Division of Cardiology, Ferrarotto Hospital from the 15th December 2005.
School Years 2006-2007, 2007-2008, and 2008-2009. Holder of a teaching course on Diseases of Cardiovascular Apparatus at the III Year of the School in Master’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery at the Ragusa learning center.
School Years 2006-2007 and 2007-2008. He has been conducting a Teaching Course for Radiological Technicians at Medical Radiology for Images and Radiotherapy and a Course in Physiotherapy at the University of Catania, Didactic Centre of Ragusa.
6 April 2009. Awarded the title of Visiting Professor in Cardiology, at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade, Serbia with both teaching activity of interventional cardiology in complex coronary lesions and chronic total occlusions devoted to fellows and cardiologists and research activity in the field of complex coronary lesions and chronic total occlusions.
